Playhouse schedule: a laughing stock.
New comedy season at the Playhouse.
Wednesday 12th August 2009
He is preceded only by the much-awaited appearance of Jimmy Tarbuck, who will be at the Venue for the first time on August 25th.
The season officially opens in September, and will run through to January, within which time will appear dozens of household names and comedy veterans from the National circuits; among them, Marcus Brigstocke and Lee Mack, Sean Hughes, Russell Kane, ex-Southend goalkeeper Terry Alderton and Stewart Lee.
It is, however, local talents The Nimmo Twins who have been chosen to cap the proceedings, with appearances from December 14th-19th and 21st-23rd.
Tickets are available for all the events through the Theatre Royal box office; check out the Playhouse for the full listings of events.
The Playhouse
The Norwich Playhouse is a fine theatre, host mainly to national tours, but you can find some good local stuff here - including the Nimmo Twins.
