'I'm a writer, performance poet and musician. I do gigs all over the UK. My first book, We Can't All Be Astronauts, is due out from Ebury Press in June 2009. It's about dreams, thwarted ambition, and my last-ditch attempt to be a star. My Dad laughed at the people 'randomly dancing' in the lower window. We'll see if he's still laughing when he reads what I've written about him. No, that's a joke. I have wonderful parents. Over the years they've been a continual and unfailing source of money.'
