Will Averill

Comedian, poet, actor and american.

'Born and educated in Lawrence, Kansas, Will majored in Theatre Studies at the University of Kansas. Since that time, he has written and/or performed in over 15 different productions since 1994, and been a principle founder of both the Card Table Theatre, a U.S. based theatre company and Axis of Evil Productions in the U.K. Will is an Irene Ryan semi-finalist, and has played at the Kennedy Centre in Washington D.C., starring as Hugh Hefner in the ACTF Award winning one-act Bunnies.

In addition to acting, Will has written both full length plays and sketch comedy, including acting as head writer of the The Victor Continental Show from 1999-2007, and had plays produced by English Alternative Theatre, the University of Kansas, EMU theatre company, and London’s Hallmark Players. He has two plays published with Playscripts.Inc –Cinderella: Or How Pipsqueak the Mouse became a Stallion with Summer Youth Theatre in 2005 and The Under-A-Minutemen Present: Literary Cannon Fodder, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2003. Will moved to the UK in 2000, and met Andy and Tom in 2002. He created The Coalition in 2003 and continues to write and star in the production.

In addition to acting, Will is an avid runner, having almost completed the Marathon della Roma in 2007, and looking to finish in 2008. He has travelled extensively around the United States, and is attempting to do the same in Europe. He also plays guitar, video games, and writes occasional blogs for online magazine www.lawrence.com.'
